Research Center Numbers
Weekend Seminar
Our flagship event of the academic year. A three-day intensive seminar packed with lectures, workshops, and—above all—hands-on scientific research. No step-by-step guidance, no comfort zone. Just teamwork, working under pressure, and improvisation. The seminar concludes with a final presentation before a panel of researchers from ICRC.
Workshops
We want you to gain hands-on experience. That’s why we offer workshops focused not only on developing research skills, but also on essential professional skills such as delivering engaging presentations and writing an effective CV and cover letter.
Lab Tours
Want to see research in action? We offer guided tours of our state-of-the-art laboratories and clinical facilities. Through our regular Lab Tours, you can visit places such as our Transfusion Department, Department of Clinical Pathology, and many more.
Internships
The best participants may be offered an internship within one of our research teams. As an intern, you will become part of real scientific research, working under the guidance of a senior researcher while contributing to your own research outcomes.
Science Talks
One-hour online sessions with experts from the FNUSA-ICRC scientific community. We discuss current topics, emerging research trends, and practical insights from both clinical practice and biomedical research. Our talks cover a wide range of subjects, including cannabis in research and medicine, the opioid crisis and pain management, AI in medicine, protein engineering, and many more. Offline and online.
School Programs
Bring your students behind the scenes of modern medicine and research. We offer guided visits for high schools, giving students the opportunity to explore our laboratories, clinical departments, and the inner workings of a modern university hospital. The programme includes guided tours of our facilities, short talks by researchers and physicians, and plenty of time for questions—providing students with valuable insights into biomedical research, clinical practice, and future career opportunities.
