Foreigners.cz
Foreigners.cz, as their name indicates, provide a full service for the foreigners coming to the Czech Republic. They can help you not only with the finding of an apartment but also with other services such as immigration, transportation, language translations etc. The prices for the apartments are a bit higher than the usual prices for apartments, however, they will make things much easier for you if you do not speak Czech.
Sreality.cz
The Czech Republic’s most popular real estate website. The website is available in both CZ and EN. However, some real estate agents unfortunately do not provide EN translations of their property listings. The most efficient way to get the apartment is to call the agent straight away and he/she speaks English, book an appointment to see the apartment in person.
Bezrealitky.cz – with no Real Estate Agent
If you’d prefer to avoid paying a real estate agent’s fee, take a look at Bezrealitky.cz, where properties are listed directly by their owners. This can save you a commission fee, which is typically equal to one month’s rent. Keep in mind, however, that you’ll be responsible for communicating with the landlord and handling the rental agreement on your own.
Last Minute Accomodation
In the Czech Republic, most hotels, hostels, guesthouses, and private apartments can be easily booked through platforms such as Booking.com and Airbnb. ICRC, in cooperation with St. Anne’s University Hospital, also offers short-term accommodation in its dormitories for newly arriving employees.
About 10-minute walk
The reception is open 24 hours a day. Dormitory is just four stops from the Main Railway Station and only a 10-minute walk from St. Anne’s University Hospital. There are only double rooms in the dormitory, however, it is possible to book the room just for yourself. It is necessary to book the rooms in advance, for more information please your HR partner.
FNUSA dormitories
The hospital owns a dormitory that can offer accommodation for employees if they are not able to find their own accommodation. This accommodation is intended for short-term stays, making it an ideal solution while you settle into Brno and arrange your permanent housing.
